Ingredients of Korean Fried Chicken
- 1 pounds chicken boneless
- 6 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- refined oil as required
- 2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 medium onion
- black pepper as required
- 3/4 cup corn starch
- water as required
- salt as required
- 2 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoon honey
How to make Korean Fried Chicken
Step 1 Marinate the chickenTake a big bowl and add boneless chicken thighs in it, Add onion, garlic, salt and black pepper powder. Mix well to coat the chicken properly. Let it rest for a few hours.
Step 2 Prepare a batterIn a bowl add cornstarch, flour, sugar, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper salt together. Mix the dry ingredients together. Add water as per need and make a smooth batter. Add chicken pieces to the batter and coat them well.
Step 3 Fry the chickenHeat oil in a kadhai and fry the coated chicken until golden brown. Once fried, take them out on an absorbent paper.
Step 4 Prepare the sauce and serveIn a pan, add 1/4 cup water, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder and sesame oil and stir together. Add chicken pieces and cook for 4-5 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve.
